Jennifer Caldwell
About
Jennifer Caldwell is a contemporary artist who creates artworks which explore how humans move and react within their environment.
 
Caldwell exhibits her artwork throughout Australia and internationally. In 2005, she participated in the International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy, Art Concept Festival, in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 2006, Art Dublin in 2007 and she has recently been nominated for the REAL Photography Award in Amsterdam. Caldwell exhibits with commercial galleries, contemporary artist runs galleries and public galleries, including the Mosman Art Gallery, Sydney, Rockhampton Art Gallery, and Art Equity.  Her commissioned works include a mural for Amnesty International.
 
Caldwell completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Tasmanian School of Art in 1995.  Her mediums include painting, drawing, textiles, printmaking and sculpture.  
 
As a non-Indigenous Australian I would like to acknowledge the Gadigal people who are the traditional owners of the land in which I created my artwork. The Gadigal are 1 of 29 clans which cover the Sydney area, and are a part of the Eora Nation.
